About
Forged in Community. Built for Intensity.
Denver's home for powerlifting, streetlifting, bodybuilding, endurance, and HYROX.
Who We Are
Denver's Warehouse Gym
ZOR Fitness is Denver's premiere warehouse gym for powerlifting, streetlifting, bodybuilding, endurance, and HYROX — a space where serious lifters train on competition-grade equipment with zero fluff, and anyone willing to put in the work has a place on the floor. With 24/7 access, whether you're chasing a total, building a physique, or lining up for HYROX, ZOR is yours.
The brand lives in two parts: the gym itself — the floor, the rigs, and the 24/7 community — and the ZOR Fitness Pro Shop, the merch we wear under the ZOR name. One brand, built on the same standard.
Elite. Accessible. No nonsense.
Philosophy
Accessible Intensity
Elite-level training shouldn't be limited to exclusive training centers. We bridge the gap between the commercial gym and the professional athlete's facility — the intimidation removed, the intensity kept. ZOR is open, welcoming, and community-focused, and it expects real effort from everyone who walks through the door.
Training here is self-directed: run your own program on your own schedule with 24/7 access, or follow a discipline's programming and events. Our mission is to help you test your limits and find ways past them.
The Name
What ZOR Means
Iron Fortress Gym opened in January 2026 — a warehouse, a community that started in Denver's parks, and a name that sounded like a place you entered. It got us here. It was never quite us.
The three of us who own ZOR are a family — sons of immigrants, Punjabi, from Pakistan. We were taught that you build what you need and you lead when no one else will. In Punjabi, zor is the force you put into a lift, a business, a life: the effort, the refusal to ease off. A verb as much as a noun. To bear down. To apply yourself when it would be easier not to.
That is the standard we inherited, and it is the standard on this floor. Iron Fortress named the building. ZOR names the work — and the people who do it.
Sons of immigrants. One family.
In September 2026 we rebranded to ZOR Fitness. Same racks. Same 24/7 door. New leadership pulling in one direction, under a name that finally sounds like us.

Open gym
For the self-directed athlete: full 24/7 access to every piece of equipment in the facility — squat racks, platforms, cables, cardio, all of it. You run your own program on your own schedule. No classes required.
The Floor
The Facility & the Gear
We built ZOR Fitness because we couldn't find a gym that catered to all our disciplines properly — so the floor carries competition-grade equipment for every one of them: calibrated plates and combo racks, five power racks, cable crossovers, specialty bars, an outdoor Rogue streetlifting rig, sleds, and ski trainers. No filler, no waiting.
People
Leadership, Staff & Coaches
Three owners, three different backgrounds — and the same instinct to build and lead. Each person owns a lane: vision and marketing, finance and legal, operations and technology.

Shahzad has always built and led. He is a Denver entrepreneur behind two companies — Fiberglass Worx, the RV and marine shop he grew from a truck bed, and ZOR Fitness, where he owns vision and marketing. He trained as an accountant at MSU Denver and competes as a streetlifter. He sets the direction, then makes sure people can see it.

Sarfaraz builds from the numbers out. He studied accounting at CU Denver, has co-owned Fiberglass Worx since 2020, and at ZOR he owns finance and legal — the books, the structure, the decisions that keep a gym honest. He has spent his career leading operators and protecting what they build. Quiet standard. No shortcuts.

Hassan builds systems and then runs them. He is a software engineer at Wahoo Fitness and at ZOR he owns operations and technology — the site, the member systems, the way the gym actually works day to day. He earned his computer science degree at CU Boulder, where he was CEO of CU Boulder Barbell, Colorado's largest collegiate lifting club, and he still competes in USA Powerlifting.
